Imperial Beach United Methodist Church, led by Reverend Phyllis Ashe, holds Sunday services each week with Sunday…More school, child care, and outreach to the homeless.</p> <p>Breakfast and prayer group meetings are held every Wednesday at 7 a.m. at The Wave Cafe.</p> <p>Loaves and Fishes feed the homeless or those in need every Saturday from 6-10 a.m. Showers are also available.</p> <p>Another church program passes out commodity food items to those in need Tuesday and Thursday each week from 9-11 a.m. Each family may receive those services once every three months.</p> <p>A San Diego Food Bank sponsored program is open the second Friday of every month from 9-10 a.m.</p> <p>To donate to the food programs or find out if you are eligible to sign-up for assistance, contact Hope Smith at 619-213-2585 or e-mail <a href="mailto:wwhope@sbcglobal.net">wwhope@sbcglobal.net</a>.</p>
