I pick up styrofoam cups In The wetlands along Kettletown road all the time. People throw themRead More and beer cans, nip bottles, soda cans, and McDonalds bags there regularly. In the woods, their personal dumping grounds. No one picks them up. I do. People honk their horns when I'm out there, but no one helps. What gives?

Nobody bothers to pick up trash across from their homes. Maybe they're embarrassed to be seenRead More picking up trash, but nobody does it. George's Hill Road is also littered with ignorant people's trash. Can't people take the time to pick it up?

I like going out to yard sales more than holding them although we do at least twice a year. MyRead More boyfriend is great at finding deals (more expensive items) and then flipping them, that's pretty awesome! I enjoy the early mornings out together, coffee, meeting new people and sometimes coming across something really cool, like my angel bell. I've never heard of bookoo.com Stephanie P, gonna look into that for selling : ) thanks!

Wont be a problem Libi, There will always be some project to impede or obstruct, So they can getRead More their face on Tv. Look at what they did to the water conversion plant in north county, !0 years to break ground and now we are so damn short of water they are thinking about rationing and no one else want's to even think about De-Salinization in this area because of them and those like them. What we really need is toilet to tap pushed agressively, It is going to happen the only question is when ! It can work, Just look at Santee lakes aftyer reaching that quality they had to back off and just partially treat their water.

'...dig through our trash...' it's a sign of poverty ...when i was a kid there i saw pictures ofRead More people digging through trash, but the pics were taken in countries like africa and india, not in the usa..... homelessness and a massive demographic of society digging through the trash is common today, but unheard in this country 40 years ago....

I too have been putting these items in the recycling containers for years now. Would be nice if EDCORead More had a website with a list ( maybe they do ) of the items they can and can't accept in those containers. Also, I'm sorry.. but I will not clean those up before putting them in. I pay EDCO to come take this away and they get the profits of my efforts by recycling in huge quantities these items, so they can use their automation to clean it up.
