i don't know what's more shocking - to find out that adults watch award shows or that they takeRead More award shows seriously... it's about time hollywood come up with more choreograph choices than mass weddings or masturbating on stage ...

I've been to both. The Santee has a much better snack selection but ours is cheaper, nicer andRead More better customer service. I heard the south bay location is planning to shut down soon?

They just upgraded to digital video recently. Why would they spend that kind of money if theyRead More weren't planning on using the new equipment for a long time? Here's a local business that has stood the test of time. There's nothing like the back seat!

Actually, the property - and adjacent mobile home property - were in escrow a couple of years ago,Read More but the developer backed out when he realized the water that runs through both properties would prohibit the Planned Urban Development. By which time many mobile homes had relocated leaving the park nearly empty.

Year after year imperial beach seems to be growing in popularity as a destination for filmRead More production. Although one of their own was an imperial beach resident, there are plentY of other producers and film executives who have considered imperial beach as a possible site for big screen production. I am grateful to be a part of such a close community of friends, family and aquiantences. This is sort of the way it has always been. We are an evolving community whos residents help one another from day to day. IB is Cool.

I heard that 50%-60% of the sandcastle event funds went to law enforcement. That is crazy, but iRead More believe it. If you've gone to the event these pst few years you would see more cops, undercover cops, probation officers, parloe officers, dog catchers, firefighters, rent a cop security and the boyscouts. There are more cops than spectators! And then the "really smart" city planners had all the corners of the sidewalks near the beach roundedout and sticking halfway into the street thus taking a couple extra parking spaces. THEN THEY HAD THE BRILLIANT IDEA OF CHANGING PALM AVE FROM A TWO LANE ROAD TO A SINGLE LANE. No wonder the city doesnt make any torism money. No one wants to come to this city if the cant park or if its going to take forever to get back out on one lane roads. Stupid!!

UPDATE: What to Expect at the Sun & Sea Festival? High-winds, a little chilly, and plenty ofRead More sand in your eyes.. that is what this morning was like... By 12:30 p.m. the turn out looked rather grim - but I saw more arriving as we were leaving. Our prime parking spot - in front of the Schaumburg's - was quickly reoccupied. Despite Mr. Schaumburg apparent attempts to 'reserve' the street parking for his numerous advertisement vehicles - with fake construction cones...

'...I heard that 50%-60% of the sandcastle event funds went to law enforcement....' the lastRead More sandcastles sheriff's bill was $70,000 - double from the year before.... and where is the ib city manager going for his 'reward' ....supervisor cox is giving him a cushy job in the sheriff's debt....what a coincidence....
