Portwood Pier Plaza

<p>Portwood Pier Plaza acts as a meeting place and park. Surfhenge is a gate to the pier and beach. An area adjacent to Surfhenge and in front of shops is designated for small children to play. There's also a large grass area for recreation, picnic tables and a stage.</p> <p>The plaza oftens acts as a meeting place for major events.</p> <p>The Farmers Market meets here every Friday 2-7:30 p.m.</p> <p>Fishers, surfers and chess players are regulars.</p>
