Big Kahuna's is a family-owned restaurant originally opened in 1992 in Oahu, Hawaii. The family opened a location in Pacific Beach in 2001 and has had a location in IB since 2009. The funky Hawaiian restaurant has kitschy Pacific island decorations all over the walls and two large flat-screen TVs. It serves "Ono Grinds" (delicious Hawaiian plates) along with BBQ and hamburgers such as the namesake Big Kahuna Burger, which was mentioned in the Quentin Tarantino film <em>Pulp Fiction</em>. It also has a selection of craftsman beers and wine, and offers tempting happy hour specials.
