Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project

At the Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project restoration event at the Tijuana Estuary Visitor Center, volunteers will install native plants to help restore habitat at the Tijuana Estuary, Southern California’s largest coastal wetland.

Barefoot Wine will host an after party from 12-2 p.m. for volunteers at Seacoast Grill at 710 Seacoast Drive. Must be 21 or older to attend after party where Barefoot Wine and bubbly will be served.

Volunteers must work in long pants and boots or sturdy, closed-toe shoes. Sunscreen, sunglasses and hats are recommended. The Tijuana Estuary will provide work gloves and tools.  

All volunteers under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign for them. Waiver forms are available in advance by request.
