Hello Imperial Beach! (again)
My name is John Griffin. I am the pastor at the IB United Methodist Church at 455 Palm Avenue.
(Sunday Worship: 9AM with Holy Communion weekly; 10:30 AM with Holy Communion 1st Sunday of month)
I just started working at the church this past July; however, I served this same church twenty years ago from 1993-99. My United Methodist Bishop believed this was where I was needed. So here I am again!
Amazing how some things have changed, and a lot has remained the same. But overall it is a wonderful place to be.
I can often be found down at the West Coast Cafe having coffee or soda with people from the community.
So if you would ever like to sit down and just chat about anything with a laid back non-judgmental pastor who usually wears t-shirts-- let me know. Really enjoy getting to know people!
