Fourth of July Beach Parking Restrictions

Parking will be restricted to ensure emergency vehicle access.

The City of Imperial Beach will restrict parking near the beach ahead of big crowds expected to pack the shore to see fireworks launched from the Imperial Beach Pier July 4.

No parking on the west side of Seacoast Drive from Daisy Avenue to Imperial Beach Boulevard

No parking on both sides of 2nd Street from Palm Avenue to Imperial Beach Boulevard.

Parking restrictions will last from 12 p.m. to midnight.

In 2011, IB lifeguards predicted that 30,000 people came to the beach for sun, sand and Fourth of July Big Bay Boom fireworks.
