Wednesday's Waves and Weather Forecast

Slipping back to small mode!

I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. Well, we're slipping back into small mode out there.  Yep, that good run of surf is continuing to loose energy.

We're starting off with some clean and glassy conditions early on, with a mixture of some remnant south southwest swell and some minimal northwest windswell in the water.

That recipe is offering this neck of the woods some kinda crumbly sectiony lines, with a few good steep shoulders to be had.  Most spots in Imperial Beach are seeing knee to waist high plus waves, with the top combo breaks pulling some stomach high waves, with an occasional plus set.

In the weather, expect a high temperature near 70 and low near 60. Wind out of the west around 15 mph but gusts may reach 25 mph.

If you're planning on paddling, get out a short sleeve full or even a spring suit for that a.m session, with the water temperature averaging between a nice 64 and 67 degrees.  Have fun out there!
