Wednesday Wave Check and Weather Forecast

More shape out there! Highs in the mid 60s Wednesday and near 70 this weekend.

Waking up with the waves on Wednesday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report.  Well, the surf has backed down a little, but we're still seeing some more shapely surf out there today!

We have some pretty clean conditions from the start with a combination of decent west-northwest swell and some new southerly energy in the water.

That recipe is offering this part of the coast some fast sectiony lines with some of the set waves still a bit on the walled side. Most spots in Imperial Beach are seeing waist to shoulder high waves with the top combo breaks pulling head high waves with a few larger sets.

Forecast calls for partly clodysy skies Wednesday with highs from 61 to 66 with patchy fog and lows from 41 to 51 Wednesday evening. Similar weather is forecast through the weekend.

If you're in need of a salt water bath, then you'll want to wear a 4/3 fullsuit and maybe the booties with the water temperature at most spots averaging between 56 and 58 degrees. Have fun out there!
