Waking up with the waves on Wednesday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. Well, it looks like the latest dose of energy is on the way down. Many spots along this stretch of sand are hanging on the playful side, but a bit inconsistent.
We have some nicely groomed conditions from the start with mainly a mixture of dropping west northwest swell and not much southerly energy to speak of.
That recipe is offering this neck of the woods some kinda crumbly sectiony lines, with a few fun shoulders to snag. Most spots in Imperial Beach are seeing knee to stomach high waves, with the standout breaks pulling some chest high plus sets.

Checking the tides...at 5:05 this morning the tide dropped to a 1.8 low and then pushes back up to a 5.1 high at 10:53 later this morning and then drains out to a negative 0.2 low at 6:00 this evening.
If you're going to grab a session, get out the 4/3 fullsuit and maybe the boots with the water temperature hanging between 57 and 58 degrees. Good luck out there!
