Beach Closed, Wednesday Surf Report and Weather Forecast
Small and fun waves, but the County Department of Environmental Health said beaches are closed.
I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. Well, there's not much size, but you can still find some fun ones out there. Yep, we're seeing mainly leftover energy.
The conditions are starting off nice and clean early on, with a minor amount of mainly northwest swell and some southerly energy in the water.
That recipe is giving this stretch of sand some fairly crumbly and broken-up lines, with a few fast shoulders. Most spots in Imperial Beach are seeing knee to waist high waves, with the standout breaks pulling the occasional plus set.

Unfortunately, following Satuday's storm, beaches from Carnation Avenue in the city's north to the U.S.-Mexico border have been closed by the San Diego County Department of Environmental Health. All other San Diego County beaches, which were under general advisories yesterday, are now open.
Beaches near the Tijuana River to the U.S.-Mexico border have been closed since Nov. 4.

The weather forecast calls for sunny skies with from 64 to 69 in Imperial Beach and lows from 48 to 56 this evening.
