Tuesday Surf Report and Weather Forecast
More little weak waves and chance of showers Tuesday evening and Wednesday.
I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. Unfortunately we're still dealing with the small and weak stuff along this stretch of sand. Yep, you'll want to break out a log again if you're planning on paddling.
The conditions are starting off mostly clean, with a combination of some minimal northwest swell and some little southwesterly energy in the water.
That recipe is offering some really soft sectiony lines, with not much push. Most spots in Imperial Beach are seeing ankle to knee high waves with the focal points pulling possibly a few bigger ones.

Tuesday's weather forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies and 20 percent chance of rain after 11 p.m and Wednesday. High of 63 and low of 57 in IB, but 73 degrees as of 11:30 a.m. 64 in Coronado and Chula Vista, 65 in downtown San Diego. High 60s forecast inland, mid 80s in the desert.
If you're going to grab a salt water bath, throw on at least a thin fullsuit with the water temperature averaging at most spots between 60 and 63 degrees. Good luck!
