Tuesday Surf Report

Not much energy early on!

Good Tuesday morning surf enthusiasts, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report.  Well, there's been a lot of hype about a high surf advisory, but we're starting off the day with some pretty small energy out there! Now, don't be surprised if things begin to build throughout the day.

We have some nice and groomed conditions early on with a small dose of west northwest swell and very little if any southerly energy in the water.

That recipe is offering this neck of the woods some crumbly sectiony lines with a few fun corners.  Most spots in Imperial Beach are pulling knee to waist high waves with the standout breaks seeing a few larger sets.

Checking the tides...at 4:53 early this morning the tide climbed up to a 4.7 high and then drops to a 0.7 low at 12:30 this afternoon.

If you're going to grab a session, a 4/3 fullsuit and the booties will do you right with the water temperature at most spots averaging between 56 and 58 degrees.  Enjoy the action!

Today you can expect high temperatures up to 70 along the coast with partial clouds this morning and lows tonight dip to the mid to high 40s with dense patchy fog in some areas.
