Well, we're still seeing plenty of playful size waves along this part of the coast, but water quality is lousy.
The County of San Diego Department of Environmental Health have declaired all beaches closed from Imperial Beach south to the U.S.-Mexico border due to sewage contaminated runoff.
"Field measurements indicate northward moving ocean currents near the mouth of the Tijuana Estuary," the DEH said in a press release Tuesday morning. Closures will be lifted when water quality is measured as fit for human contact.

General advisories have been issued for all other San Diego County beaches due to urban runoff after recent rain.
County Health Officials always urge surfers and swimmers to stay out of the ocean for at least 72 hours after rain especially near river mouths and storm drains due the likelihood of increased bacterial levels.

Forecast calls for rain to subside by Tuesday afternoon with partly cloudy skies until Sunday. Highs from 55 to 60, lows from 41 to 58.
