Possible Rain on the Way, Tuesday Surf Report and Weather Forecast

Surf builds, temperatures remain 70s on the coast ahead of lower temperatures and possible rain Thursday and Friday.

Good Tuesday morning surf enthusiasts, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report.  Well, we're seeing a bit of an increase in the action out there today. Overall, it's mostly playful size surf with a few plus sets.

The conditions are starting off mostly clean with some light offshore winds.  Taking a look at the waves, we have some new building west-northwest swell and just a hint of southwesterly energy in the water.

That recipe is offering this neck of the woods some fast semi-walled lines, with some good rippable corners. Most spots in Imperial Beach are seeing knee to chest high waves, with the focal points pulling some shoulder high waves with some plus sets.

Weather forecast calls partly cloudy skies with highs from 70 to 75 on the coast and 75 to 80 inland. Lows from 46 to 53 in IB this evening.

If you're going to grab a session, a 3/2 fullsuit will do the job with the water temperature at most spots hanging between 58 and 60 degrees. Have fun out there!
