Thursday Surf Report and Weather Report

Lacking energy out there. Partly cloudy.

I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. Well, we're lacking in the size department out there today. Yep, it's pretty small and weak up and down the coast.

Fairly clean conditions from the start, with a minimal combination of remnant southwest swell and some very minor northwest energy in the water.

That recipe is offering this part of the coast some weak crumbly lines, with a few workable ones if you ride a log or a fish. Most spots in Imperial Beach are seeing knee to thigh high waves, with the focal points pulling some waist high waves.

Partly cloudy Thursday with highs from 75 to 80. Lows 43 to 53. Winds out of the east 15 mph.

If you're really itching to get wet, then you'll want to wear at least that 3/2 fullsuit with the water temperature averaging at most spots between 58 and 61 degrees. Good luck out there!
