Thursday Surf Report and Weather Forecast

More of the same small stuff!

Good Thursday morning surf enthusiasts, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. Well, we're looking at more of the same out there today. Yep, it's a good day for the grommets with more small and fairly weak energy.

We're starting off with some fairly clean conditions and a very minor mixture of swells in the water. There's mainly residual west northwest swell and some super small southerly energy.

That recipe is offering this part of the coast some pretty crumbly lines with the occasional fun corner to snag. Most spots in Imperial Beach are seeing knee to waist high waves with the top breaks pulling a few plus sets.

Weather forecast calls for mostly sunny with patchy fog in some areas with highs from 60 to 65. Lows from 38 to 48. Chance of rain Friday evening, throughout the day Saturday and again Monday morning.

If you're going to get wet, get out your 4/3 fullsuit and maybe the booties with the water temperature at most spots averaging between 57 and 58 degrees.  Good luck!
