Thursday Surf Report and Weather Forecast

Show up to the office late and enjoy that surf.

Good Thursday morning, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. Well, you just might want to show up to work or class a little late today. The fun size waves are hanging around for another day.

We're starting off with some fairly clean conditions. As far as the surf goes, we have a nice mix of northwest swell and some smaller south-southwesterly energy in the water.

That's bringing IB some fast semi-broken up lines, with some really good corners to snag. Most spots in Imperial Beach are running about waist to shoulder high, with the standout combo breaks pulling some larger sets.

Thursday's weather forecast calls for patchy fog and clouds with a high temperature near 70 and low of 61 in the evening. 72 in Chula Vista and downtown San Diego, 71 in Coronado, high 70s to low 80s inland and 101 in Borrego Springs.

If you're planning on paddling, a thin fullsuit will do the job with the water temperature hanging between 63 and 65 degrees. Get out there and enjoy!
