Good Thursday morning, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. Well, it's not cranking, but it's definitely not small. We're looking at more playful size surf along this part of the coast.
We have some fairly clean conditions from the start, with a combination of some decent leftover south-southwest swell and some new northwest energy in the water.
Look for fairly broken-up lines, with some good wedgy shoulders to snag. Most spots in Imperial Beach are seeing knee to chest high waves, with the top combo breaks pulling shoulder high plus sets.

Forecast calls for a 70 degree high and partly cloudy skies which may clear by midday. 61 degree low this evening. 71 in Chula Vista and downtown San Diego and Coronado. Mid to high 70s inland and in the 90s in the desert.
If you're going to grab a session, throw on no more than a thin fullsuit, with the water temperature hanging between 63 and 65 degrees. Have fun out there!
