Thursday Surf Report and Weather Forecast

Can't seem to snap out of the small wave spell!

I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report, and we just can't seem to snap out of this small wave spell.  So, unless you're a grom, I wouldn't make it a priority to paddle.

There's a minimal mix of northwest windswell and southwesterly energy in the water.

That makes for some crumbly sectiony lines, with not much power behind it. Most spots in IB are running about knee high, with the focal points pulling thigh to waist high waves, with not much more than that.

In today's weather, forecasts call for a partly cloudy skies the morning then mostly sunny skies and a high temperature of 72-74 degrees in IB. 79 to 84 degrees inland.

If you're going to grab a session, throw on a thin fullsuit with the water temperature cooling off a bit and averaging between 62 and 65 degrees. Have fun out there!
