Thursday Surf Report

Surf decreases, but still some good size.

Good Thursday morning surf enthusiasts, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report.  Well, it looks like this latest solid swell has backed down a bit, but you can definitely still find plenty of sizeable surf along this stretch of beach.

We have some fairly clean conditions from the start with mostly modest west northwest swell in the water.

That recipe is offering this neck of the woods some fast and sorta walled lines with a few good corners to pick off.  Once again...the reefs and points will offer the best shape with this latest swell.

Most spots in Imperial Beach are seeing waist to shoulder high plus waves with the focal points pulling head high waves with some overhead plus sets.

Checking the tides...at 6:15 this morning the tide pushed up to a 5.4 high and then drains out to a negative 0.1 low at 1:45 this afternoon.

If you're going to grab a session, your 4/3 fullsuit and booties will do the job with the water temperature at most spots averaging between 56 and 58 degrees.  Have at it!

Today is mostly sunny and clearwith coastal high temperatures near 70 degrees and tonights lows will range in the low 50s.
