Thursday Surf and Weather Report

I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. Well, if you're looking for some sizeable surf, it's out there!! A high surf advisory has been issued that will continue until Friday evening. . Waves as high as seven feet can be expected throughout the weekend, National Weather Service forecasters said. Yep, the sea's calling for the experienced water people. 

Those conditions are starting off pretty clean early on. We have some pretty solid south southwesterly swell and not much northwest energy to speak of.

That recipe is offering this stretch of the sand some fast mostly walled lines.

In today's weather sunny skies with a high temperature of 71 degrees and low of 61. Forecast calls for similar temperatures with more clouds this weekend.

If you're going to grab some of the action, then you'll want to wear a springsuit, with the water temperature averaging between 66 and 68 degrees. Be safe out there!!

Tide will rise to 5.92 feet around noon and recede to 0.34 foot at 6:34 p.m. this evening. Sunrise was at 6:23 a.m. Sunset will be at 7:13 p.m. this evening.
