Photo Gallery: Softball and Little League Baseball Opening Day Carnival
Saturday was Opening Day for baseball and softball players in Imperial Beach. A carnival was held to celebrate and raise funds for the season.
An Opening Day ceremony took place at the IB Sports Park Saturday morning and was followed by a carnival with booths, prizes and a cake walk.
Some teams played exhibition games, but the official start of the season is next week.
Carnival rides included bumper cars, a big inflatable slide and classic spinning rides like the Sizzler and the Round Up.
