What a day! Surfed 9 heats and made 3 finals, with one win in Masters shortboard. WildCoast again did an awesome job! Big congrats to Kevin Ferris on his Mens win and Mike Gillard 1st Open Longboard! Andrew Pate of OAKLEY gave out tons of shirts at the tent and killer shades to all podium finishers, WOW!

Thanks to everyone who made this year's Dempsey the best ever!! Especially all the great surfers, sponsors, volunteers, and the City of IB for all the help. Lots of positive stoke. We made sure to also contract services with local businesses for food, trophies, printing, and surfboards for the event. It was great to see Assemblymember Ben Hueso and IB Councilman Jim King handing out trophies and awards. And having the Latin American surfers there made this year's event truly international.
