Monday Surf Report and Weather Forecast

You can brag about today's weather to friends on the East Coast, but not the surf.

I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. Well, we're looking at another day of pretty minimal surf out there. You will definitely want to break out a log or possibly a fish depending on where you're paddling!

Conditions are starting off nice and glassy, with a mixture of some very small northwest swell and a touch of southwesterly energy in the water.

That recipe is offering some soft broken-up lines, with a few that'll get you going. Most spots in Imperial Beach are seeing ankle to knee high waves, with the focal points pulling some thigh to waist high waves.

The day's weather forecast calls for sunny skies and highs from 65 to 70 on the coast, 71 to 76 inland.

If you're planning on paddling, a thin fullsuit is the call with the water temperature at most spots averaging between 59 and 61 degrees.  Good luck out there.
