Monday Surf Report and Weather Forecast

A fair amount of action in the water and partly cloudy skies forecast.

Waking up with the waves on Monday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. Well, we're looking at a fair amount of action. Overall we have mostly playful size energy along this stretch of sand.

The conditions are starting off mostly clean and glassy with a nice size mixture of mainly lingering southerly swell and some northwest energy in the water.

That recipe is offering some fast workable lines with some wedgy sections out there. Most spots in Imperial Beach are seeing knee to chest high waves with the standout spots pulling a few shoulder high sets.

The weather forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with highs from 63 to 68 and lows from 46 to 54. Small chance of drizzle Monday evening and Tuesday morning. Chance of rain forecast for this weekend.

If you're going to get wet, a 3/2 fullsuit will do the job with the water temperature averaging between 59 and 62 degrees. Have fun out there!
