Monday Surf Report and Weather Forecast

Some fun shoulders to pick off.

I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. Nothing solid out there in surf, that's for sure, but if you don't care about a lot of size, then go grab a few.

The conditions are looking nice and clean from the start, with a mixture of some small-scale northwest energy and some minor southerly swell in the water.

That recipe is offering this stretch of sand some racy sectiony lines, with a few good wedgy corners. Most spots in Imperial Beach are seeing knee to waist high plus waves, with the standout combo breaks pulling a few stomach high sets.

Monday's weather forecast calls for sunny skies and a high temperature of 69 degrees during the day and low of 57 this evening. High of 71 in Chula Vista and Coronado, 70 in downtown San Diego, mid to high 70s inland and 99 in El Centro.

If you're going to get wet, throw on at least a thin fullsuit for that a.m session, with the water temperature averaging between 62 and 64 degrees. Have fun out there!
