The formal dance was held at The US Grant Hotel downtown.
Due to a lack of fundraising during their first three years at Mar Vista High School, Â the Class of 2012 only had $100 saved, and there was doubt seniors could come up with the cash to have their prom at their first choice location.
But they were able to pull it off, and Saturday evening seniors partied at The US Grant Hotel downtown.
