June 7 Surf Report and Weather Forecast

The day's weather and an analysis of surf conditions by local surfer Greg Broadfoot.

Another extreme low tide this morning. Look forward to a new southwest swell filling in later on in the day, raising sets to waist or chest high.

The plume tracker indicates that water leaving the Tijuana River is generally flowing south.

Winds are calm early this morning, but expect winds to turn out of the northwest at 11 mph.

Water is a brisk 62 degrees on this beautiful San Diego day, so get out and enjoy the sun, surf world!

We had mostly sunny skies Monday but patchy clouds and fog is forecast by the National Weather Service from late Monday to Thursday. Look for a high 65 degrees and low temperature of 55 until Thursday.

A strong rip current risk has been forecast for Tuesday, with the largest waves in the county expected north of Del Mar.
