June 6 Surf Report and Weather Forecast

The day's weather and an analysis of surf conditions by local surfer Greg Broadfoot.

This morning's extreme low tide closed out what was left of a two to three foot south to southwest swell.

The plume tracker indicates that water leaving the Tijuana River is generally flowing south.

Winds were calm early this morning but have now turned onshore at 11 mph. Water is a brisk 62 degrees on this beautiful San Diego day so get out and enjoy the sun surf world!

Mostly sunny skies Monday but patchy fog forecast by the National Weather Service from late Monday night to Thursday. Look for a high 65 degrees and low temperature of 55 until Thursday.

A strong rip current risk has been forecast for Tuesday, with the largest waves in the county expected north of Del Mar.
