Robles Stays Undefeated

Emmanuel Robles remains undefeated in professional matches after he beat Adolfo Landeros Thursday in a featured fight at the Four Points by Sheraton San Diego hotel.

Imperial Beach boxer Emmanuel "Renegade" Robles (7-0-1) defeated Adolfo Landeros 23-26-13 of Mexico City in a match at the Four Points by Sheraton San Diego hotel Thursday.

Robles grew up in IB but moved to San Diego to be closer to his gym, he told IB Patch. He is undefeated since he started fighting professional matches in 2010.

The match and others fought Thursday were coordinated by Bobby D. Presents.

David Barragan of National City picked himself off the canvass in the second round to keep his undefeated record at (4-0-1) over tough Jose Martell (2-6-1) of Phoenix, AZ (38-37).

Basilio Nievez (10-2) succumbed to a TKO from an overmatched Juanito Robillar (49-18-7) from Mati in the Philippines.

James Taylor (2-1) lost a slug fest to Victor Fonesca (3-1) of Tijuana in an unanimous decision. Finally, Jonathon Quiroz (3-1) of Oceanside spoiled the very durable Jesus Sandoval's pro debut (0-1) in an unanimous decision.
