Daily Surf Report March 2 - Beach Closed

Local surfer Greg Broadfoot's daily analysis of surf conditions.

Another fine day in San Diego's Finest City.

Too bad waves are still on the small side. Ankle to waist high on your best sandbars.

It's a beautiful day, but beaches from Carnation Avenue to the U.S.-Mexico border remain closed. A general advisory has been issued for all other San Diego County beaches by the Department of Environmental Health after this weekend's rainfall.

The plume tracker indicates that particles released to follow the outpour of the Tijuana River is flowing south of the river mouth. See for yourself.

Wind is light out of the northwest at 8 mph and the water is 54 degrees.
