Daily Surf Report Feb. 23 - Beach Closed

Local surfer Greg Broadfoot's daily analysis of surf conditions.

The pollution signs are still up but the waves are really flat anyway. I recommend just enjoying what sun we have left for the rest of the week.

The yellow signs are up for a general advisory in effect for all San Diego County beaches, as is customary after the kind of rain we have seen the past few days. That means enter the water at your own risk.

All IB beach is closed, from Carnation Avenue to southern end of Seacoast Drive to the U.S.-Mexico border. The plume tracker indicates that particles released to follow the outpour of the Tijuana River is flowing west-southwest of the river mouth. See for yourself.
