20% Chance of Rain, Thunderstoms in Friday Surf Report and Weather Forecast
Go squeeze in a session.
I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. Well, this run of fun surf is hanging around for another day. So if you happen to have the day off or you're starting your weekend a little early, go grab a session.
We have some pretty clean conditions early on, with a mixture of mainly northwest swell and some smaller south southwest energy in the water.
That's bringing some fast semi-walled workable lines, with some rippable shoulders to IB. Most Imperial Beach spots are running about waist to chest high, with the focal points pulling some larger sets.

20 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms forecast all day Friday and Saturday morning. High temperature of 70 degrees and low of 61 this evening. 74 in Chula Vista, 72 in Coronado, 73 in downtown San Diego, high 70s to low 80s inland and slightly over 100 degrees in the desert.
If you're planning on paddling, a thin fullsuit is the call with the water temperature averaging at most spots in the area between 63 and 65 degrees. Have at it!
