IB Easter Egg Hunt a Huge Success [Photos]

More than 1,000 people gathered at the Imperial Beach Pier Plaza this morning to celebrate Easter and hunt down more than 8,000 Easter eggs that had been spread out on the grass.

Meanwhile, kids painted with the Art Kids, took photos with the Easter Bunny, and celebrated a beautiful morning with their friends and families.

Hundreds of children waited patiently for the 10am countdown. Evie Ambrose Ramseir, who organized the event, helped them countdown.

Then it was all over. Hundreds of kids gathered thousands of eggs in 120 seconds.

It was as good as it gets in IB.

"I wanted to have a fun family event," said Evie, who spent months organizing the Easter Egg hunt. "And thankfully the business community rallied around to help me raise the money to make it happen."

So a special thanks to Evie and all of the volunteers who came out to make this a special treat for kids and families!!!
