There will be a community workshop tonight, April 22, on the proposed Bernardo Shores project slated to replace the current Bernardo Shores trailer park on Highway 75 near 7th Street.
The workshop will take place at the Marina Vista Center at 1075 8th Street in Imperial Beach.
From a previous Patch story on the project:
- The project "proposes the construction of 216 beach bungalow style town homes along State Route 75."
- "Units in the three-story town homes would range from 1,100-1,700 square feet and the development may include a new connection to the Bayshore Bikeway may be built for the community."
- Project may be in a 100-year flood plain.
- If new commercial zoning rules receive state approval, the project would need to meet Commercial/Mixed-Use (C/MU-1) zone rules."
