Sweetwater Trustee Suffered Memory Loss Due to Car Crash
The cause of the July 24 car crash involving Sweetwater Trustee John McCann on Telegraph Canyon Road in Chula Vista is still under investigation.
Sweetwater Trustee John McCann suffered memory loss following a car accident in Chula Vista last month, a family friend told NBC San Diego.
It may take a year for him to return to full health, NBC reported.
McCann may have suffered brain damage as a result of the three-car crash on Telegraph Canyon Road, initial reports said.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
McCann was elected to the Sweetwater Union High School District Board of Trustees in 2010 and planned to seek reelection in fall 2014.
