Chalk Art Paints Southwestern College

The two-day Street Painting Festival was the final event to recognize Women's History Month at Southwestern College.

After two days of gathering at the college's main quad, the 7th Annual Street Painting Festival at Southwestern College came to an end Thursday.

The festival attracted 76 chalk artists, eight grafitti painters and more than 50 vendors to the Chula Vista campus, according to the college.

The street painting festival was the final event to recognize Women's History Month.

Among other events held for Women's History Month, last month the Southwesten College Student Veteran Organization held a Sisters in Arms ceremony to celebrate the service of women in America's armed forces.
