Register Online for Spring 2012 Southwestern College Courses

Last day to register is Jan. 5. Classes start Jan. 9.

Southwestern College classes begin Jan. 9.

The campus is closed for winter break and will reopen Jan. 3 but students may register online.

New students must take assessment tests to determine what classes you should take, attend orientation and complete other steps before starting classes.

Classes cost $36 a unit and can be taken at Southwestern College, one of its Higher Education Centers or online. Fees are set to increase to $46 a unit after the spring semester. Parking permits at Southwestern cost $40 for a semester.

Final exams will be held the second week of May. The last day to petition for graduation is March 2.

Continuing education courses include financial planning, ESL, self-improvement and "Introduction to Microcomputers," and many other options. There are classes in how to use your foreign degree in the United States, Adobe computer programs, Capoeira and strength training for seniors. Many continuing education courses are free but some require fees up to $110.
