WiLDCOAST Ice Plant Removal in Otay Valley Regional Park

Saturday, December 3rd from 9 am - 2 pm

Join us for a morning of ice plant removal and habitat restoration in the Otay Valley Regional Park. We've already covered the ice plant with black cloth in hopes that it will die. On Dec. 3rd we'll be ripping this invasive plant specie out of the Otay River Valley and we need your help! We'll provide the gloves and refreshments, you bring the peoplepower!

This area will be replanted with native plant species in order to support the recovery of the Otay River Valley ecosystem. Girl Scout Troop 5912 have already confirmed, as well as various middle and high school groups and Rangers from the park. We hope to see you there too!
