Our longtime website SaveIB.com succumbed to a serious hacker attack and became inoperable. I was in a serious car accident with my significant other two months ago and we are still healing broken ribs, etc. I have not had the time to devote to the old website and without financial support from the community, I could no longer afford to pay all the bills and do all the work. Recent efforts to partner with others was difficult............because everyone wants to get paid for their work. I must commend the community of Imperial Beach for finally standing up to corruption at City Hall. People are starting to see the writing on the wall and becoming more pro-active. Recent events indicate that several whistleblowers have been right about corruption being at your local city hall. For the first time in many years....the Citizens can sit in the driver seat....if they decide to take control of the car before it swerves into the ditch. It may already be headed into the ditch...but smart people who are not as greedy might be able to salvage much of the mess created by this and recent previous administrations at City Hall. My great thanks to Khari and the Patch for allowing me the space to continue a community dialogue with the community that I love and will always be my home in my heart. I love I.B. I love my friends: past and present in Imperial Beach. The future of Imperial Beach is in it's youth. The powers that be made a fatal mistake when they got around to fleecing this demographic. Whether poor or rich..............don't mess with our kids. If the Mayor, Council and Staff didn't get it yet....then they never cared what the public wanted. What more proof do you need.? I will continue to post here at the Patch as long as they will have me. I thank the many of you who read SaveIB.com over the last 7 years. I hope that overall we have been a positive influence in raising awareness in the community. Now we know they pay the City Attorney to suppress the truth.
