The Blimp Boss! The Blimp

People have been sending me art work, cartoons, stories and comments. I will try to continue to be a mouthpiece for those who are too intimidated to reveal their real identity but still want their opinions heard. City Hall can pay for their own cheerleaders and flying monkeys. I am here to speak for the underdog and point out stupidity and illegal acts when I see them. Boy! Has this city been keeping me busy these last 7 years. There still a few more issues ahead and a few more bumps in the road ahead. I wrote a piece earlier today about the new hotel opening and traffic and parking issues. Somehow it didn't upload but I will rewrite it and address what I think the next biggest issues facing Imperial Beach will be. Traffic and Parking will be a couple of big ones. Sewage and pollution? Hey they just said the water is safe to swim in for the first time since December. Not like water quality hasn't affected the survival of previous versions of beach front hotel in a town that depends on a water based recreational economy. So my next post will be about the cost of all the variances given to the new hotel and how traffic and parking is going to jam Seacoast Drive like never before. Bottom line is a parking structure will be required if the hotel and it's food, beverage and entertainment is successful. Good luck keeping umbrellas on the roof. More to come soon. Ed Kravitz
