Did the city know a serious water shortage was coming when they decided to move the water company to new headquarters on Palm Avenue? Was there something interesting about the property where they used to be located that made the city feel it was worthwhile to move them? At least you'll have a big fancy place to go pay your water bill in the future? Why would anyone want to do big development with impending drought? Let's solve the water shortage and other infrastructure shortfalls before doing higher density and height development. Where's the water going to come from to flush the toilets and drink? Can't hardly water your lawn now? And SANDAG calls it SMART-GROWTH? I call it STUPID! INFRASTRUCTURE FIRST!
