The "Saint Of South Seacoast" says that he picked up 10 gallons (2 buckets) of dog poop from I.B. Blvd to the end of South Seacoast Drive on Friday. I went on a photo stakeout to catch violators who don't pick up after their pets. I am actually quite pleased to report that the majority of folks were carrying bags and picking up after their pets....at least they were during my stakeouts with a camera. I did however find 3 seperate parties who drove and parked on South Seacoast who did not pick up after their pets. One violator just took her 3 dogs to the beach and let them run. She probably didn't even see them poop they were so far away? Another woman let her dog run and then just put him in her car and drove off. I'll post some more photos. If you see someone not picking up after their dog send the photo or post it. I saw Dr. McCoy Friday evening making a brisk walk out of the Estuary at South Seacoast with some woman other than Patiricia. They were not walking dogs but I'm sure they were taking note of all the dog poop that had been removed by a private citizen. Perhaps with all the grant money SWIA handles for Estuary Programs they should take a more active role in dealing with the dog crap and the violators ; especially along and in the Estuary?
Some lazy people need to start picking up after their dogs pretty soon or they will be seeing their photos posted next to the one's of their dogs crapping. Be a responsible pet owner and a good neighbor or someone might be bringing it all home to your house soon!
