REALTORS® trade group will reach out internationally

The Pacific Southwest Association of REALTORS® (PSAR), a San Diego-area trade group for REALTORS®, has announced the formation of the PSAR Global Real Estate Council. PSAR’s newest Council, recently approved by the PSAR board of directors, will provide PSAR members with educational opportunities to enable them to expand their practice internationally, according to Richard D’Ascoli, CEO of PSAR.

D’Ascoli said planning is underway for the Council to host training sessions on cultural customs and diversity, as well as panel discussions and forums with international partners. He also said the Council will encourage PSAR members to earn the Certified International Property Specialist, a professional designation offered by the National Association of REALTORS® that provides knowledge, a worldwide network and tools helpful in serving international clients.
