With more than 80 percent of , Jersey Boys Diner won the best place to eat Mother's Day brunch.
A few weeks ago, Jersey Boys Diner also won the best place to eat breakfast in IB.
The diner also won the Taste of IB held by the Imperial Beach Chamber of Commerce last year.
Greg Lalka, who owns the restaurant with his wife Nicole, said he surprised to learn that IB Patch users again voted Jersey Boys Diner one of the best places to frequent in Imperial Beach.
"It's a good thing," he said Friday. "This is our first restaurant, and this is our first year, so there's been a lot of learning, but we must be doing something right."
Among specials available to moms Sunday include an Eggs Benedict Florentine for $11 and $2 off Chavez Chicken pasta, a penne dish in a garlic wine sauce with grilled chicken, spinach, tomatoes and carrots.
