Watch A Classic Irish Movie on St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick's Day or Feast of St. Patrick is a cultural and religious holiday celebrated annually 17 March, the death of the Patron Saint of Ireland, Saint Patrick.  It was made an official Christian feast day in the early seventeenth century.  The Lenten restricks on eating and drinking alcohol are lifted for the day, which had encouraged the holiday's tradition of alcohol consumption, though I do not drink and my Kennedy family are from Scotland.  An Irish classic movie you can watch is The Quiet Man.  The movie is about an American Sean Thorton (John Wayne) who returns to Innisfree, the small, beautiful Irish village where he was born, to buy his family's  old home.  He meets Mary Kate Danaher (Maureen O'Hara), courts her and marries her.  But, he must win her first and her trust.  It is a beautiful movie with two great motion picture stars, just lovely
