Princess Samantha Kennedy Duchess of Oltu Wants You To Watch Ronald Reagan and Doris Day in "The Winning Team"

Years ago I had the honor of Meeting President Ronald Reagan at a very important  Party in Nashville, Tennessee at the Grand Ole Opry.  I took his photo on stage here.  I was often invited as a special guest to sit on stage at the Opry and had the pleasure of meeting Glenn Campbell, George Jones, Tammy Wynette who one night took care of me when I wasn't feeling well from having a baby.  Everyone thought it would be good for me to get out and go to the Opry and I almost fainted and Tammy Wynette took care of me backstage at the Opry.  I met many stars over the years and often had my photo made with them.  But, one of the most wonderful times that I will never forget was when I met President Reagan.   I will always remember when I got to meet President Ronald Reagan and I took a photo of him.  Just a few years ago, my son and I were in an auto accident.  We were on our way to mail a care package when a big truck and a car hit each other and the truck plowed into my side of the car.   My son, Adam and I had to go to the hospital, Adam would be fine, but, I got the worst of it and I had to have many months of physical therapy.  During this time I watched many classic movies and several Ronald Reagan motion pictures.  One Ronald Reagan picture I watched is called, "The Winning Team," starring, Ronald Reagan, Doris Day and Frank Lovejoy.  This a wonderful fictional movie about the life of Major League pitcher Grover Cleveland Alexander who has an accident during a baseball game when a baseball hits him in the head.  His injury results in a condition called myopia or double vision.  He thinks his career his over and he suffers from depression, poor health and becomes an alcoholic and he is forced out of baseball.  His wife Aimee (Doris Day) through her faith and devotion as a good wife helps him to get a second chance for a comeback and redemption.  If you love baseball like I do, you will enjoy this Ronald Reagan and Doris Day movie called "The Winning Team."
