Three Weeks of Navy Noise Warnings Wrap Up This Week

The Navy has warned that training on the bay and ocean sides near the amphib base could disturb some residents.

Three weeks of Navy training that includes blank gunfire and small boats operating in San Diego Bay and the ocean south of the Naval Amphibious Base will end Thursday.

The Navy issued noise alerts to warn residents. Monday and Tuesday they apply to exercises on the bay and Wednesday and Thursday to ocean activities.

The noise can be expected from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
